A lovely, elevated lookout with magnificent views of the Story Bridge, Brisbane River, city skyline and Howard Smith Wharf.

This heavily trafficked walk starts off Bowen Terrace in New Farm.

The walk is an easy short stroll on sealed paths around a small greenspace perched on a cliff above the Howard Smith Wharf.

The fenced lookout offers amazing views of the Story Bridge, Brisbane River, city skyline, New Farm Riverwalk and Howard Street Wharf.

A set of stairs and elevator provides easy access to Howard Street Wharf and to the New Farm Riverwalk, for those looking to stretch their legs more.

There are a number of picnic tables and benches, as well as plenty of grass to spread out a rug. There is also an exercise park within the reserve.

The lookout is fantastic at sunset as the sun sets behind the city skyline, before the city lights start to twinkle as dusk arrives. That said, it is lovely at all times.

Track: The walk consists of sealed footpaths and is easy to follow.

Difficulty: The walk is an easy stroll suitable for all fitness levels, including those in wheelchairs. The walk is flat for the entire reserve.

Direction: This is a loop track that can be completed in any direction.
