A short rock hop past cascades to a lovely waterfall that plunges over basalt columns into a shallow pool below.

This lightly trafficked trail is located near Killarney, starting at Browns Falls Park on Spring Creek Road.

From the picnic area, head along the concrete path through the tunnel under the road. The concrete path ends soon after and the remainder of the track is rough and faint, crossing the creek a number  times.

The walk is short at just over 600 metres, however care is required when rock hopping and the track is for able-bodied persons only.

The 15 metre waterfall plunges over basalt columns into a shallow pool below.

To return, simply retrace your steps.

This walk is great when paired with other activities in the area, including Queen Mary Falls, Daggs Falls lookout and Carrs lookout. These collectively are known as the ‘Falls Drive’.

Track: The track, for the most part, is faint and rough, with a fair amount of rock scrambling and hopping required. While the track is unsigned beyond the starting point, it is a straightforward hike up the creek and so is easy to follow.

Difficulty: The track is rough and suitable for able-bodied persons only. Rock hopping and some simple scrambling up small cascades is required. Care should be taken on the rocks, particularly after rain, as they may be wet.

Direction: This is an out-and-back track that returns the way it came.
