A popular lookout near Mount Glorious with sweeping views over Lake Wivenhoe to the western plains.
This moderately trafficked location is found at a signed car park off of Mount Nebo Road, about 10 kms outside of Mount Glorious.
The lookout is located just a short walk from the car park, along a graded track and down a small set of stairs.
From the large constructed wooden platform, enjoy breathtaking uninterrupted views over the Northbrook Valley to Lake Wivenhoe and beyond, including Toowoomba, the Lockyer Valley and Great Dividing Range.
This is a great lookout to view as part of a day trip from Brisbane to Mount Glorious, along with Camp Mountain Lookout, Jolly’s Lookout and Westridge Outlook.
Track: The track consists of graded paths and some steps. Alternatively, a paved lower track provides wheelchair access, with this track accessed to the right of the entrance to the car park (before going up the hill) . Both tracks are easy to follow.
Difficulty: The track is suitable for all fitness levels. The track is wheelchair accessible (with assistance) if taking the lower track (you will need to return the same way to avoid the steps).
Direction: This is an out-and-back track that returns the way you came. It can also be performed as a loop track that can be completed in either direction – however there is little to see on the lower track (primarily used for wheelchair access).

The walk is located from a car park off of Mount Nebo Road, about 10 kms outside of Mount Glorious, 45 minutes drive northwest of Brisbane.
The car park is relatively small and becomes busy in peak periods on weekends and public holidays.

The walk can be completed year-round.
