A beautiful lookout located close to the side of the road, with views across the forest to the Gold Coast city skyline.

The very short, lightly trafficked walk starts from the side of Springbrook Road, just after the one lane section of forked road returns to two lanes.


Cross the road to the constructed platform, which offers uninterrupted views across the forest surrounding Hinze Dam, to the Gold Coast city skyline and coast.


Track: The path is paved, easy to follow and wheelchair accessible.


Difficulty: The track is suitable for all fitness levels.


Direction: This is an out-and-back track that returns the way it came.

getting there

The walk is located on the side of Springbrook Road, just after the one lane section of forked road returns to two lanes when heading up into Springbrook National Park, 1.25 hours drive south of Brisbane.


Parking is ample for how trafficked the location is.

The walk can be completed year-round.
