The ideal starting spot for this moderately trafficked walk is Canyon Lookout, which offers breathtaking views into the valley and across the cliff line dotted with waterfalls, including the prominent Rainbow Falls.

The walk then descends from the plateau into the depths of the forest, following signs for the Warrie Circuit.

The walk features numerous waterfalls, including Poonyahra Falls, Poondahra Falls, Goomoolahra Falls, Kadjagooma Falls, Ngarri-dhum Falls (arguably the true ‘twin’ falls of Springbrook) and Gooroolba Falls.

A short side-track to Twin Falls (on the Twin Falls Circuit) is also highly recommended.

At roughly the half-way point, you reach the Meeting of the Waters, aptly named due to it being where several creeks merge.

Once the track rejoins the Twin Falls Circuit, cool off as you walk behind Blackfellow Falls.

As you walk through the rainforest in the valley, along the base of the cliffs of the plateau, you pass a number of interesting overhangs. 

As you trek back to the starting point along the plateau, you’ll be rewarded with two more lookouts with views to the Gold Coast skyline and Springbrook Pinnacle.

Track: Graded and well-signed, making it easy to follow. The descent and ascent into and out of the forest is via a number of steep switchbacks and steps.

Difficulty: The circuit is long and includes a large amount of elevation gain. A moderate to high degree of fitness is recommended. Care should be taken at creek crossings as the rocks can be slippery, especially after rain.

Direction: While the track can be completed in either direction, it is recommended to do the track anti-clockwise.
